We are a mother and daughter team that is blessed to get to do what we love together! Our business is built on educating and empowering our clients. We are passionate about makeup and skincare and LOVE teaching our clients all we know! We are both licenced aestheticians and have worked in the industry many years. Melissa: Clearly I am the mother in this team! I have been in the makeup industry for about 20 years, but my passion for makeup started when I was much younger. I have worked for many amazing places and have had the opportunity to do makeup for commercials and photoshoots, but my real passion is working one on one with my clients. I love to teach the importance of skincare and the fun of makeup! Opening this studio with my daughter Ashlynn is truly a dream come true! I hope to bring something different to this industry through educating and giving my clients a new found confidence!
Ashlynn: My passion for makeup started the day I got to go to work with my mom at Saks Fifth Avenue. She worked for Trish McEvoy at the time and I got to sit in the chair, get my makeup done and watch the artists work on others. I was hooked! I knew this is what I wanted to do! My first job was working for Bath and Body Works. While this was a lot of fun, I knew I needed more. I was lucky enough to land a part time position with Sephora in the color department. I was finally getting to do makeup! Later, I went out a limb and applied for a position with Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa. I got it! Now I was working with brides and having a blast! After moving back to Oklahoma from Connecticut, we decided to open the studio. We are truly blessed to have this opportunity! Hope you will come and be a part of this amazing journey!
